The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura was established under the provisions of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura Act 2004 enacted by Legislative Assembly of Tripura State and notified vide Notification No F.2 (529)- DHE/UDCA/2003, dt. 15.06.2004 of Government of Tripura. The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Agartala is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India  (ICFAI), a non-profit educational society with the objective of imparting training in finance and management to Aspirants, working executives and professionals in India.

The University has been approved by the University Grants Commission, under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The Distance Education Council (DEC) has approved the programs of the ICFAI University, Tripura. The University believes in creating and disseminating knowledge and skills in core and frontier areas through innovative educational programs, research, consulting and publishing, and developing a new cadre of professionals with a high level of competence and deep sense of ethics and commitment to the code of professional organize.

A number of educational programs are offered in management, finance, banking, insurance, accounting, law, information technology, arts, commerce, education and science & technology at bachelor’s and master’s levels on full-time campus and distance learning formats. The University also allows private Students to enroll in various programs if they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The University does not provide any courseware, nor organize any contact classes, nor offer any other support services to private Students. Such Students have to prepare for the programs on their own as per the curriculum and are required to attend the examinations, as per the rules and regulations of the University. The University has no study centers/branches outside the State of Tripura.

ICFAI University Undergraduate Admissions 2019

ICFAI offers an array of courses at UG level in the streams of Arts, Science, Education, Engineering, Computer Application, Law, and Business Administration. Along with the Bachelor’s courses, the institute also offers five years integrated courses in Computer Application and Law. 

Admission to B.Tech courses are based on ICFAI Tech School Admission Test (ITSAT)/ Tripura JEE/ JEE Mains, whereas admissions to Law courses are through Law School Admission Test (LSAT)/ Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT). For other courses, admissions are directly based on the merit list issued by the admission cell of the institute based on the interview.

For admission to B.Tech program, Students must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with at least 45% aggregate marks.

Minimum academic qualification for B.Ed is Bachelor’s/ Master’s in any stream with 55% aggregate marks. For the other courses, Students with minimum 45% marks in any stream in class 12th are eligible to apply.

ICFAI University Postgraduate & PGDM Admissions 2019

At postgraduate level, ICFAI offers Master’s in Business Administration, Arts, Computer Applications, Law, Mathematics and Library & Information Science. It also offers PG Diploma in Yoga and Library Automation & Networking.

Admissions to all the PG courses are through merit list by the institute issued after the interview. Students who hold Bachelor’s in concerned disciplines are eligible for admissions. 

For admissions to Master’s in Law (LLM), Students must have a valid ICFAI Law School Admission Test. Only the Students with Bachelor’s in Law with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for LLM.

The institute offers full-time research courses in four disciplines for which admissions are based on merit through Student’s score in SLET/ UGC NET/ GATE. Students should have obtained Mater’s in the concerned disciplines with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

Students can apply online by filling up the Application Form and make payment towards online Registration charges by using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Citibank Card) or Internet banking option using secure internet payment gateway. Students applying online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the Online Application.
